Configure Red Flag Parameters

This section of the 01 Budget Configuration driver determines if and when users are required to enter comments for variances in budget plan files (for more information, see the chapter on variance reporting).

This table describes the settings in this section.

Setting	Definition
Percent Increase Threshold	Sets the percentage variance above budget. Users are required to enter an explanation.
Percent Decrease Threshold	Sets the percentage variance below budget. Users are required to enter an explanation.
Dollar Threshold (+/-)	Sets a dollar amount above or below budget. Users are required to enter an explanation
