Authentication service users

Authentication service is a web-based authentication method. Users in the Authentication service are embedded throughout the Strata ecosystem. They are stored in Microsoft Azure Active Directory and can be entitled to Axiom and other Strata applications. Users in Azure are associated with a unique User ID associated with their email address.

For new customers, Active Directory synchronization enables you to migrate users into Authentication service through Axiom.

Users assigned to Authentication service can only access Axiom Budget Planning and Performance Reporting from the web.

Admins can migrate users to Authentication service, sync them from your Azure Active Directory, or create them in the Axiom Security Manager, which syncs back to Azure Active Directory. Strata support can assist migrating existing users to the Azure Active Directory.

Consultant and support users are not migrated to Azure, as these roles will be created and managed in Azure Active Directory.
