Edit imported users
After an imported user is created in Axiom Budget Planning and Performance Reporting, you can edit the user's permissions in Security. Axiom syncs the changes to Axiom Authentication service.
You can assign the user to additional roles and/or subsystems and those additional assignments persist through subsequent imports. However, if the user is part of an import that contains a mapping with those roles or subsystems, and the user is not in the group affected by that mapping, the user is removed from those roles or subsystems.
You can edit user properties such as name, email, and authentication type; however, these changes are overwritten the next time you run the Active Directory import task, assuming that Directory Sync Enabled is still selected for the user.
If you do not want to synchronize the user with Active Directory but you still want the user to be active in Axiom Budget Planning and Performance Reporting, clear the Directory Sync Enabled checkbox for the user. After disabling this option, the user is ignored by the import and treated like a manually created user.
